PR Log (Press Release) –
Dec 10, 2009 – The company's regional HQ, located in East Kilbride, Glasgow, will help bolster its rapid sales growth in the Scottish market and support its established customer base across the country.
The move comes hot on the heels of the company - which operates worldwide across four continents - announcing impressive financial figures which marked a substantial increase in profits.
"We've been operating successfully in Scotland for quite a number of years now but our new office will certainly help us reach a much larger audience within the country" said Tony Neill, Navman Wireless's Executive Vice President.
"We are committed to investing in our UK operations and this move underlines this."
The office will be headed up by new national sales manager Robert Lamont who brings more than 10 years of industry experience to Navman Wireless ( http://www.navmanwireless.co.uk ). Robert is joined by experienced sales support colleagues Graeme Scott and Nicola Lamont.
Additional recruits are expected to join the Navman Wireless Scotland team in the coming weeks while the company is also set to announce further worldwide expansion plans.
Robert added: "Navman Wireless technology is at the very forefront of the vehicle tracking industry and with the recent addition of the privacy function, which enables drivers to hide their non-business mileage, we are fully expecting to see a real increase in take-up throughout both the commercial vehicle and sales fleet markets."
