XP Vehicles to showcase record-breaking electric Vehicle Components

PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 10, 2009 – The safest, lowest cost, longest range electric vehicle ever created.

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.  Imagine a car door that is entirely safe, even bullet proof, yet, while made of nano-tech fabric, can withstand crashes by a Hummer® without a care, a door that weighs a mere whisper of its steel counterpart thus allowing dramatic range capability, costs a fraction of traditional manufacturing methods, takes significantly less time to manufacture and may be the “killer  app” for electric cars… This is the door that XP Vehicles, Inc. is booking media demos for. Watch for broadcasts detailing this unique technology on the web and television shortly.  An “old school” steel door and it’s XP  counterpart will perform in side by side shoot-outs including a real “shoot-out” conducted by SWAT officers with an AK-47 assault rifle. XP points out that the traditional steel door will “break your foot” while you examine it and will not damp out the impact of a crash and it’s mass will increase the dynamics of the crash while the XP door is lightweight and ultra tolerant in a “force incident”.

XP Vehicles, one of the first U.S. Department of Energy, Section 136, AVTM loan applicants to receive notification that their application has been considered substantially complete, announced the scheduling of showcase media opportunities for the demos of their proprietary electric car components.

The company applied for a commercial $40M Department of Energy “ATVM” loan at the beginning of November 2008 and has been in extensive due diligence review by the U.S Government for the last seven months. Energy Secretary Chu has ordered funds from the program to be dispersed “as fast as possible”. XP Vehicles expects finalization soon and has also applied for additional loan and grant opportunities and is currently negotiating with investor opportunities.

Since early 2009, XP Vehicles has a standing challenge to every other electric car company to beat its metrics. To date, no other electric vehicle company has accepted the challenge. The XP Vehicles MUV (Mini Utility Vehicle) is targeted at a $20,000.00 base price.
